As we implemented our programmes under our A Resilient Peace strategy, we began drafting a new strategic framework guiding our work for the coming five years. Building on our legacy and learnings, the Strategic Framework 2026-2030: Navigating Political and Civic Space – Peacebuilding in an Era of Heightened Instability has the following programmatic focus areas and priorities:

Social Cohesion and Trust-Building; Inclusive Governance and National Structures; Reconciliation and Transitional Justice; Resilience and Adaptive Peacebuilding

Influencing Policy and Practice; Public Engagement; Reinforcing Capacities and Peace Education; Thought Leadership and Narrative Change
The focus areas are guided by the crosscutting themes Gender-Inclusive Peacebuilding and Youth Leadership for Peace.
The following pages elaborate on how we generated tangible results in 2025, whilst steering our operations towards the new strategic framework launched in 2026.
