Implemented in partnership with UNOPS with financial support from the German Development Bank (KfW), the programme combines infrastructure development and peacebuilding. In East DRC (North Kivu, South Kivu, and Ituri), the project implements the “Building for Peace” approach to promote social cohesion through the construction of labour-intensive economic and social infrastructures. Its component in Kinshasa (Ngaliema and Masina) is dedicated to preventing juvenile violence, providing marginalised youth with vocational training and entrepreneurship opportunities to enhance civic engagement.
