The “Consolidating Unity and Resilience through Healing, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation in Rwanda” programme seeks to advance mental health through community-based healing spaces and formal health facilities, foster reconciliation and resilience through dialogue spaces established in community and correctional facilities, and strengthen psychological and economic resilience through collaborative livelihood initiatives.
The programme applies holistic and evidence-based interventions such as Resilience-Oriented Therapy, Multifamily Healing Spaces, Sociotherapy, and Collaborative Livelihood protocols to advance its goals. Furthermore, through research and institutional collaboration, the programme supports the integration of effective tools into national strategies, practices, and policies.
The programme is funded by the European Union.
