We envision a world where conflicts are prevented, managed, resolved, and transformed without recourse to violence, in which peace is a credible and durable solution.

Mission

Our mission is to build sustainable peace in conflict-affected societies by overcoming divisions in non-violent and non-coercive ways. We do this by accompanyingand reinforcing the capacities of communities – be they national or international, formal or informal – in their efforts to advance peaceful solutions before, during,and after conflict.

Process

Tectonic shifts are changing the fundamentals of peacebuilding. In parallel, only a select number of conflicts absorb global attention. For communities, these shifts and the neglect manifest in the grave loss of life, weakening of resilience, and erosion of trust in the structures that have been created to protect them.

For peace, the process matters. For us, the how is just as important as the what.
