Diagnosis and solutions for sustainable peace in Mali

September 26, 2016

After the armed conflict in 2012, Mali is engaged in its reconstruction. In the context of a participatory action research conducted by Interpeace and its partner the Malian Institute of Research and Action for Peace (IMRAP), the Malians identified two main priorities for a sustainable peaceful society: the lack of trust between civilians and the defence and security forces as well as the evolution in societal values. In this video, Malians from all walks of life and parts of Mali make a diagnosis of the situation and offer their solutions to consolidate peace in Mali.
