Global Policy Engagements

The New Agenda for Peace and the 2025 Peacebuilding Architecture Review (PBAR) provide opportunity to re-assess how to make the UN peace architecture ‘fit for purpose’ and operationalise the goal of sustaining peace across the multilateral system, while integrating the learning role of global civil society in this endeavour (including the horizontal learning across diverse country and regional contexts by civil society peacebuilders themselves), and to begin to redress the marginalisation of peacebuilding CSOs from around the world.
Interpeace is proud to play a key role to support the UN to engage more meaningfully with civil society, at and across all levels, including in the 2025 Peacebuilding Architecture Review and through the CSO-UN Dialogue.
