Governance for peace

The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and hosted by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), organized a lunchtime seminar on "Governance for Peace."

The lunchtime seminar focused on the challenges involved in implementing the New Deal for Engagement in Fragile States. UNDP's latest report on Governance for Peace was used as a basis for the discussion.

Dr Caty Clement from the Geneva Centre for Security Policy welcomed the participants. On the panel, that was moderated by Neil Buhne of UNDP, were: Ambassador Joachim da Fonseca of Timor-Leste, Sheelagh Stewart of UNDP, Dominic Sam, UNDP Country Director in Liberia and Ambassador Yvette Stevens of Sierra-Leone.
