class=\"n2-ss-item-content n2-ow\"><div style=\"text-align:left;\"><div><p>Ishimwe Shalom, a resilient and inspiring individual who fled from the Democratic Republic of Congo and sought refuge in Uganda in February 2018. Despite facing challenging circumstances as a refugee, Ishimwe has become a beacon of hope and inspiration for other young people. With over 5 years of experience in project management, media advocacy, and mental health counselling, he has demonstrated strong leadership skills.  As the Chairperson of Rendezvous Youth Group (RYG), a Refugee Youth-Led Organisation that includes both forced migrants and vulnerable youth from the host community, Ishimwe is dedicated to empowering youth to become responsible and self-reliant individuals.  \n<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><style>p { line-height: 1.5;}\n<\/style><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"n2-ss-layer n2-ow n-uc-2h2UMGfIMMtt\" data-pm=\"default\" data-sstype=\"col\"><div class=\"n2-ss-layer-col n2-ss-layer-with-background n2-ss-layer-content n-uc-2h2UMGfIMMtt-inner\"><div class=\"n2-ss-layer n2-ow n-uc-fXHBy33aa8ny\" data-pm=\"normal\" data-sstype=\"layer\"><div><div class=\"n2-ss-item-content n2-ow\"><div style=\"text-align:left;\"><div><p>Participating in the Great Lakes\u2019 Cross-border Youth Dialogue for Peace  programme under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.refugeelawproject.org\/\">Projet sur le droit des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s<\/a>, Ishimwe is a Young Fellow passionate about empowering young forced migrants.
