After the armed conflict in 2012, Mali is engaged in its reconstruction. In the context of a participatory action research conducted by Interpeace and its partner the Malian Institute of Research and Action for Peace (IMRAP), the Malians identified two main priorities for a sustainable peaceful society: the lack of trust between civilians and the defence and security forces as well as the evolution in societal values.
