This paper is part of the wider research project 'Strengthening parliaments in conflict and post-conflict situations.' The project aims to contribute to a broad-based discussion on the actual and potential roles of parliaments with regard to conflict management, and the formulation of recommendations on how the international community can better support parliaments to play such roles.
