La famille de Diog\u00e8ne Uwimana \u00e9tait sur le point de se s\u00e9parer en raison de son r\u00f4le dans le g\u00e9nocide de 1994 contre les Tutsi au Rwanda. Apr\u00e8s sa lib\u00e9ration, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9 au rejet et aux mauvais traitements de la part de sa femme et de ses enfants, qui n'\u00e9taient pas pr\u00eats \u00e0 vivre avec un g\u00e9nocidaire.
