From October 2020 \u2013 September 2022, Interpeace implemented a holistic peacebuilding pilot programme focused on mental health, social cohesion,reconciliation, and collaborative livelihoods in Bugesera District, eastern Rwanda. The programme supported the government\u2019s efforts to build a resilient, cohesive, and inclusive Rwandan society close to 29 years after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The programme contributed to reducing trauma and strengthening mental resilience, social cohesion, and collaborative economic livelihoods.
