Mais nous r\u00e9alisons que notre compr\u00e9hension actuelle ne nous permet pas de saisir enti\u00e8rement la complexit\u00e9 du probl\u00e8me. Les jeunes sont rarement associ\u00e9s \u00e0 cette analyse et encore moins aux solutions. Celles-ci ne peuvent qu\u2019\u00eatre incompl\u00e8tes ou inefficaces. Une Recherche participative men\u00e9e par Interpeace, avec ses partenaires de l\u2019IMRAP et Indigo C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, soutenue par l\u2019UNICEF, montre comment les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et les dynamiques entourant les jeunes au Mali et en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire structurent les arriv\u00e9es de ceux-ci vers les violences. L\u2019id\u00e9ologie (religieuse) semble moins une motivation d\u00e9cisive que plut\u00f4t un discours de l\u00e9gitimation a posteriori. De m\u00eame, le ch\u00f4mage et l\u2019avidit\u00e9, bien qu\u2019ils restent d\u2019importance, ne sont pas centraux.
