Les patrouilles mixtes, mieux connues comme le M\u00e9canisme op\u00e9rationnel de coordination (MOC), sont une unit\u00e9 arm\u00e9e constitu\u00e9e d\u2019anciens combattants des trois signataires de l\u2019Accord de paix: le CMA, la Plateforme et l\u2019Etat malien et son arm\u00e9e. Leur premier mandat est de prot\u00e9ger les sites de d\u00e9sarmement, d\u00e9mobilisation et r\u00e9int\u00e9gration (DDR) comme t\u00e2che de l\u2019Accord de 2015. Les MOC sont souvent vus par les communaut\u00e9s comme le premier responsable de l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 et des tensions \u00e0 Gao. Leurs relations avec les populations locales ont aggrav\u00e9 le conflit. Pour contrer cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9, l\u2019IMRAP a lanc\u00e9 un processus d\u2019\u00e9tablissement de la paix entre les MOC et les populations dans cet environnement extr\u00eamement tendu, menant actuellement \u00e0 des actions conjointes pilot\u00e9es par et que se sont appropri\u00e9es les communaut\u00e9s. Interpeace and l\u2019IMRAP ont aussi soutenu la production de vid\u00e9os qui expliquent la mission et le mandat des MOC<\/a>qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9es \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision nationale malienne pour aider \u00e0 augmenter le nombre d\u2019indications sur ces m\u00e9canismes et r\u00e9duire les tensions entre eux et les populations.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 le r\u00f4le tr\u00e8s important des femmes \u00e0 la fois pour alimenter et r\u00e9soudre les conflits en dehors des cercles officiels de d\u00e9cision, celles-ci font face \u00e0 plusieurs obstacles structurels qui rendent difficile leur participation dans les acteurs de paix et dans les FDS (voir section 1). Par cons\u00e9quent, la repr\u00e9sentation des femmes dans les sph\u00e8res formelles de prise de d\u00e9cision est basse, notamment dans les processus de paix, les femmes de r\u00e9gions rurales \u00e9tant davantage encore exclues.
