Grace Muhoza

Grâce is a Rwandan National. Prior to joining Interpeace, she worked with various National and Panafrican organisations including the Rwandan Girl Guide Association (an NGO working to end violence against women and girls), Urgent Action Fund-Africa (a women's human right organisation), AWAN-Afrika that seeks to empower women agripreneurs and Ubuntu Center for Peace that works to implement a community-based social healing model to address both individual and collective traumas in Rwanda and across the boders.

She has also worked as a translator and interpretor, providing services in English, French, Kinyarwanda and Kiswahili to several organisations in Kenya and in Rwanda. As a vibrant, charismatic leader, she has held leadership positions including the Commissioner of the Youth at AGR (Girl Guide Association), President of the Rwanda Student Association in Daystar University and Secretary/Treasurer of Ibuka in Kenya. Grâce graduated from Daystar University with a Degree in Integrated Community Development and a minor in peace conflict transformation. She also pursued a Master of Arts Degree in Child and Youth Development at the same University. She is passionate about the relationships between the youth and the role the family and society play in moulding the youth to become better leaders.

Caroline Kamau

Caroline Wairimu Kamau is a dedicated program management intern based in Nairobi, Kenya. With a background in Armed Conflict and Peace Studies, she is currently pursuing a master's degree in international relations. Caroline is a charismatic leader with a strong focus on women and youth issues. She has received recognition for her innovative solutions to address systemic inequalities, including being named the Opportunity Desk Young Person of the Month and featured in Kenyan publications. Caroline is excited to work with Interpeace to further her passion for gender and peacebuilding, aiming to empower local women as peace agents and challenge unequal power relations and harmful gender norms. She is eager to contribute her skills and enthusiasm to the Interpeace team.

Faustine Karasira Irebe

My name is Faustine Irebe Karasira, and I am a Rwandan currently based in Kigali. I work as a Programme Support Officer, and my passion for peacebuilding began during my high school years through the Initiative for Peace (IfP) programme at United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA). As a firm believer in equity and peace as the foundation for happiness and development, I am committed to contributing to the creation of a more peaceful world.

Pauline Ndiritu

I am Pauline Ndiritu Kenyan based in Nairobi office as an Administration Officer with some background of Peace and Conflict studies.

I am passionate about helping people and this enables me to uphold my role well as it entails planning, logistics and operations.

Marie Justine Umuhoza

I am currently serving as the Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (DMEL) Officer in Kigali, Rwanda. My extensive background and steadfast dedication to advancing DMEL practises make me a valuable asset in promoting societal healing and reconciliation through evidence-based approaches. With a positive attitude and tireless energy, I work diligently to make a lasting impact on the resilience of the community I serve. My role as a DMEL officer requires a deep understanding of the complex social and economic challenges facing the people of Rwanda. Through careful monitoring and evaluation, I am able to identify areas where evidence-based interventions can have the greatest impact. By leveraging my diverse skill set and expertise, I am able to design and implement programmes that promote sustainable development and positive social change.

Moses Mutabazi

My name is Moses Mutabazi, and I hail from Rwanda. Currently, I am based in Rwanda, where I work as the Programme Officer in charge of Livelihood and Joint Action Development Forum (JADF) Coordination. As a highly skilled professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in both the local government sector and community development and peacebuilding organisations, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role. I hold a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Rwanda, with a specialisation in finance, as well as a master's degree in project management. This unique blend of financial expertise and strategic project management skills enables me to approach my work from a well-rounded perspective. My passion lies in peacebuilding work, where I strive to build resilient peace, promote social justice, and foster sustainable development.
