COURSE: Enhancing Leadership in Peacebuilding

26 June 2012 - Although the body of knowledge about peacebuilding is growing, a lack of clarity about what makes peacebuilding effective persists. Also, considerable knowledge exists on leadership, but fails to permeate in the peacebuilding field.

Interpeace is partnering with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), with the support of UNITAR and on behalf of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland to offer, for the fourth year, a senior-level course to enhance leadership in peacebuilding.

The course is ‘by invitation’ and has been tailored to meet the needs of current and potential leaders whose remits touch on peacebuilding. 24 participants will be selected from a competitive process to come to Geneva at the end of October for this five day interactive course.
