Interpeace regrets to announce the tragic loss of colleague and peacebuilder Abdulkadir Yassin Jama on 30 October 2011.
He was assassinated while leaving a mosque, after prayers, in Galkayo, Puntland, Somalia.
Abdulkadir was working for Interpeace partner the Puntland Development Research Centre (PDRC) at their satellite office in Galkayo. His life was dedicated to building peace.
The whole Interpeace family extend their condolescences to his family, friends, all his colleagues and the community.
